On top of family celebrations and the Olympics in Paris, it was time to take a breather away from Mauritius and sample the joys of Festivals in the South of France…
Last night, August Friday 2nd, we travelled to Monaco and La Note Bleue restaurant and bar, to enjoy a very special concert.
Tony Momrelle was performing as part of the LA NOTE BLEUE SUMMER FESTIVAL in this seafront venue that offers quality live music for holidayers on the French Riviera.
Tony Momrelle is a personal favourite of Annick, both as a Male BV with superstars like Sade, Chaka Khan, Gary Barlow, but also as a Lead Singer with INCOGNITO. The last time we met was when “Bluey” and his band performed in Reunion Island for two unforgettable concerts in Le Tampon and Théatre de St Gilles. The cherry on the cake was to find our dear friend Julian Crampton on bass, in Tony’s band. The last time we had met was in 2005, sharing the stage on the Matt Bianco & Basia World Tour “Matt’s Mood”! The music was superb, the singing sublime and LA NOTE BLEUE is a great night out in the luxurious setting of Monte Carlo! An absolute gem of a night !
